Catholic Charities

Free groceries/food pantry hours: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, and the 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoons each month from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.). Population Served: Those of lower income. Free.

Contact Ministries

This program provides food, healthcare, clothing, and help with rent, medical needs, and utilities. Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday). Doctor on site on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Doctor is primarily for the homeless population. Population Served: Women and children in crisis. Free.

First Presbyterian Church

Hours: 11 a.m. - noon (Monday-Thursday): give out lunch bags. Hours 9 a.m. - noon (Monday-Thursday): give out can goods. Also will provide gas vouchers and rental assistance. Population Served: Unemployed, homeless, or financially unstable. Free.

Grace Lutheran Food Pantry

This program provides lunch bags of vegetables, fruit, meat, beans, pasta, crackers, sugar, jelly, soup, soap, and toilet tissue. Population Served: Anyone who is referred. Must have a picture ID, or for children, must have their SS card or medical card. Free.

Kids Cafe

Meals for kids age 0-18 are served at 5 p.m. Kids Cafe is part of Brandon's Outreach Program, administered by the Springfield Urban League, which also provides help with homework, education, mentoring, computer classes and nutrition classes. Hours: 2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Population Served: Children ages 0-18 from low-income families; parents are welcome, too. Free.

Kumler Ministries

This program provides food, clothing, medicine, diapers and formula. Population Served: Those of lower income. Need a referral to receive food; other services are available to anyone. Free. Food hours: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Medical hours: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
