The Autism Program of Illinois
TAP is the largest statewide network in the nation for diagnosis, treatment and resources for Autism Spectrum disorders. Didactic Training: assessment, communication and social interaction, Autism awareness, parent training, treatment techniques, physician education, educational planning.
Experience-based Training: demonstration classrooms, diagnostic evaluations, discrete trial training, classroom consultation, model treatment programs, parent training model.
Population Served: Children with Autism Spectrum disorders and their families. Community Service and Support: parent support groups, parent and professional advisory councils, support of university and medical school curricula in ASD.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Illinois Capital Region
One-to-one mentoring relationships for children referred to them either by a parent or a teacher. Population Served: Children in five counties (Sangamon, Christian, Montgomery, Macoupin & Logan), through both community-based and site-based mentoring programs. Free.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Illinois
Character-building activities, art activities, educational programs, and athletic programs. Population Served: At-risk youth ages 6-18.

Prevention programs, court advocacy, crisis intervention counseling, and investigation of child abuse cases. Population Served: Child abuse victims under the age of 18. Free.

Community Child Care Connection
Finding & helping to pay for child care in your area, child care training and a newsletter every three months. Also assist in reporting child abuse or neglect. Population Served: Low income families that need help finding child care in their area and assistance paying for it.

The Hope Institute for Children and Families
Hope provides educational, residential and health services to children ages 5-21 with multiple developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders, and their families. Students attend school at a state-of-the-art Learning Center specially designed for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Children who need more resources than their homes or local schools can provide live in facilities on-campus or community homes throughout Springfield.
Population Served: Children ages 5-21. Payment: Residents of Illinois receive funding through one or more of the following: Illinois Department of Human Services, Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Illinois State Board of Education, local school districts and private pay arrangements. Private pay is also accepted for all out-of-state admissions.

Pregnancy Resource Center
Counseling for pregnancy and adoption (Christian-based), free pregnancy tests, medical and adoption referrals and housing referrals. "Earn While You Learn Program" for mothers to earn baby clothes, diapers, and other items through mentoring programs. Prenatal and parenting classes. Population Served: Individuals who are pregnant or wanting to adopt, and parents. Free.
